Zojirushi’s Multicooker has 9 convenient menu settings: Sauté/Sear, Simmer, Low/Slow Cook, Steam, White Rice, Brown Rice, Quinoa, Yogurt and Keep Warm. The Sauté/Sear setting has 2 temperature options, used for browning meats and sautéing aromatics before simmering. There is also a unique Low/Slow cook setting that allows 4 temperate settings from 140°F to 200°F for slow cooking. The 10” diameter large cooking pot accommodates large cuts of meats. The clear, tempered glass lid allows you to view the cooking process while the large resin handle can be used to stand the lid vertically to save space and prevent messes. The Multicooker has a 1,350 watt high-powered output and a large heating plate that provides even heating while the highest power output on the market allows for better cooking results. The recessed handle on the body is for easy transportation and storage convenience. Because of Zojirushi’s commitment to Safe Design, the Multicooker is designed to conceal the heating plate and cooking pot while cooking. The removable power cord detaches when snagged to prevent the hot pot from falling off the kitchen counter, and the overflow guard directs overflow for easy cleanup. All surfaces that come into contact with food or beverage are BPA-free.
